Here the geographical accuracy takes a little artistic liberty:  Since the Daddy went to University of Colorado, Boulder, and was still an extreme Colorado Buffaloes fan...we absolutely had to make those Rockies become the Colorado portion - here in particular, he had pictures of the University Stadium, the red-roofed campus, and last but not least, the famous looming mountain range within the Colorado Rocky Mountains known as the "Flat-Irons".  You can just about make out the "Colorado" as it really is in the Stadium.
